Awarded to a graduate who has demonstrated extraordinary achievement, leadership and innovation in a global operation.
Sasha Krstic (IMBA '03), Executive Vice President, Security Solutions at Mastercard
About Sasha >Sasha Krstic serves as Executive Vice President of Security Solutions at Mastercard. She is responsible for leading the enterprise-wide integration of Recorded Future, the world’s largest threat intelligence company. The acquisition of Recorded Future adds to Mastercard’s robust set of identity, fraud prevention, real-time decisioning and cybersecurity services. Sasha excels in fostering synergies across organizations, enabling strategic alignment and managing large-scale change.
Since joining Mastercard in 2004, Sasha has held leadership roles in key regions across the globe. Most recently, as President of Canada, Sasha was responsible for all aspects of Mastercard’s Canadian operations, leading the regional strategy to grow Mastercard’s brand and business. Prior to that, she was the Executive Vice President of Services for Asia Pacific and Head of the Nordic and Baltic division, where she oversaw eight diverse countries, grew market share and delivered innovative payment experiences for consumers and merchants.
Sasha graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Arts in Native Studies and has an International Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is passionate about bringing out the best in her colleagues, partners and customers; advancing opportunities for women; and most importantly, living and leading with authenticity.

Michael O. Lewis (MBA '09), Managing Partner, Financial Services at Amrop
About Michael >Michael is a highly regarded leader within the financial services sector with nearly 25 years of distinguished experience spanning executive search, banking and real estate.
Michael is Founder, CEO of CareerNPV, a career growth and leadership development company helping aspiring leaders and executives make more informed career decisions.
Michael is also currently a Managing Partner at Amrop Global Executive Search, one of the world’s largest leadership and executive search consultancies, with a global footprint across 69 offices and 57 countries. As Managing Partner, Michael leads the financial services practice and advises national and global financial institutions on securing transformational leadership talent.
|Michael’s career is marked by a consistent drive to elevate leadership standards and foster inclusive, purpose-driven cultures. Prior to Amrop, Michael served as Global Head of Financial Services at Boyden Global Executive Search, a global leadership and advisory firm based in New York. In this role, he led a high-performing financial services practice with over 60 Partners worldwide. His earlier roles include leadership positions at Timbercreek Asset Management, Raymond James Corporate Banking, and Equitable Bank, as well as a decade at TD Bank.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michael is deeply committed to philanthropy and mentorship. His dedication to community impact and leadership development reflects his belief in the power of people to drive meaningful change. He has supported a number of organizations as volunteer and mentor, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Art Gallery of Ontario, AESC, Initiative for Competitive Inner City, McKinsey Executive Leadership Program, Ferrotype Collective, the Black Opportunity Fund, Schulich Real Property Alumni Association, the Black North Initiative, and the Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association. Michael is also a 2025 recipient of the prestigious Arbor Award from the University of Toronto, the highest honour granted by the university to its volunteers.
Michael holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, a BSC (Hons) from the University of Toronto, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Dr. Eileen de Villa (MBA '03)
About Eileen >Dr. Eileen de Villa served as Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health from 2017-2024. In this role, she led Toronto Public Health, the largest local public health agency in Canada, serving the city’s 3+ million residents.
Dr. de Villa earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mc Gill University, her Doctor of Medicine and Master of Health Science (MHSc) degree in Health Promotion from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University.
Public health physician, author, professor, and public figure, Dr. de Villa was at the forefront of public health efforts and interventions in Toronto for the last 8 years. This includes guiding the City’s COVID-19 pandemic response (which included the largest vaccination campaign in Toronto’s history); the response to the ongoing drug toxicity crisis; and public health policy considerations for city planning, emergency preparedness, and disease prevention and control.

Chris Ye (BBA '08), Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Uken Games
About Chris >Chris is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Uken Games (www.uken.com), the studio behind notable titles Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Jeopardy! World Tour, and Ava’s Manor. Collectively, Uken has amassed over 60 million downloads worldwide making it one of the top independent game studios in Canada. In 2018, Chris organized the sale of Bingo Pop, Uken’s first major hit, to Jam City, for a nine figure acquisition. He’s also been an angel investor in companies including UVS Games, Dapper Labs, Manifold, Sequence Platforms (formerly Horizon Blockchain), Carry 1st, Stacked, and Mezmo (LogDNA).
