Schulich East Asia Scholars Access & Impact Award

Empowering the Next Generation of Global Business Leaders

As Schulich celebrates its 60th anniversary, our alumni across East Asia are uniting to create a lasting legacy: the Schulich East Asia Scholars Access & Impact Award

With a fundraising goal of $60,000 in honour of Schulich’s 60th Anniversary, this new award will annually support up to two students, over six years. Recipients will be incoming international students (with preference for those holding an undergraduate degree from an East Asian post-secondary institution).

Funds raised beyond $60,000 will be directed to a brand-new fund, the Schulich Student Access Fund which removes financial barriers and provides bursaries, travel funding, and support for students to participate in transformative global and experiential learning opportunities across all programs.

Recipients will receive mentorship opportunities with Schulich alumni and be invited to events to connect with alumni and donors toward the award.

Through this initiative, our East Asian alumni community is helping remove financial barriers and open doors for the next generation of responsible leaders who will shape the future of business around the world.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Henry Chau (BBA ’02), Adrian Chau (MBA ’00), Helen Wong (IMBA ’92), Emily Wong (MBA ‘03), Alan Wen (MBA ’77) and Beatrice Wen (MBA ’77), every gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $30,000.
